“We were picked up on time, just two of us in the minivan. A short drive to the beautiful caravanserai at Saruhan. The ceremony was mesmerising, with reed music and drum to start, while the dervishes prayed, before starting the whirling part of the ceremony. It was truy beautiful to watch. At the end, you are given a chance to take photos before having sherbet and visiting the small onsite shop. Our guide/ driver was excellent, and very attentive. “Private tour is the way to go! We got to spend a good amount of time at each site and customize the itinerary to what we wanted to see. There was some confusion because the title says by plane but doesn’t include the plane tickets. There is also no communication with the company until 2 days prior, because viator doesn’t notify them when they get a comment/question, so that was frustrating. Other than that all was smooth and our tour guide did a good job.”
