“We decided to take this lamp making class because our hot air balloon was canceled due to bad weather. We arrived 15 minutes early but there was no one to greet us at the hotel lobby so we had to find the workshop location ourselves. To our surprise the class was held in a restaurant and bar area where customers kept coming in to dine. It didn't feel like a private or organized workshop space at all as I saw in the pictures. Our class was somewhat chaotic because our class tutor, Zehra was running a turkish coffee class next to us at the same time. We had to wait…”

“We absolutely loved this experience, Zehra was a great host. She explained the history of Turkish coffee and traditions so well and told us many stories of Turkish Culture which was very interesting. We got to make our own Turkish coffee and Zehra also made us a coffee to suit my girlfriends coffee preference which was very nice. We finished up with a fortune telling session, that was very impressive. It was a great activity to see part of Turkish culture and Zehra made us feel very welcome we really enjoyed it and would recommend!”

“I do not remember the name of our teacher but he had very curly hair, he was amazing! One of my favorite things on my trip to Turkey. He was incredibly entertaining and the experience was fun. Would definitely recommend to do this as it is not a long event and can do early in the morning before your day starts. Learned a lot about coffee!”
